PRIVACY POLICY

  1. The controller of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”) within the meaning of Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), is EK Elektrokabel Fabryka Kabli Karolak i Synowie sp. z o.o. (Tax Identification Number: 668-188-93-47), with its registered office in Turek, ul. Chopina 151, 62-700 Turek, Poland.
  2. Any requests related to GDPR should be sent to the following email address: ek@elektrokabel.pl.
  3. Providing personal data by persons visiting the website (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) is voluntary, subject to the following cases:
    • In order to place an order, we require the provision of such data as: first and last name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. Failure to provide this data will make it impossible to place an order.
    • c. For the purpose of conducting commercial or technical correspondence – contact details enabling a response are required.
    • b. In order to send us a contact form, submit a product inquiry, or subscribe to the newsletter, providing an e-mail address is required.
  4. The Controller uses the IP address of the computer of a person visiting the website for technical purposes related to the servers on which the website is hosted. This address may also be used to generate statistical data such as website visit statistics.
  5. Personal data are processed by the Controller for the purpose of:
    • Performing the concluded contract, e.g. fulfilling a placed order,
    • Responding to inquiries submitted via the contact form and conducting further correspondence in this regard,
    • Responding to product inquiries submitted via the contact form,
    • Sending newsletters containing marketing information,
    • Conducting commercial or technical correspondence.
  6. Users have the right to exercise the rights arising from the GDPR, in particular:
    • the right to access their personal data and to rectify them,
    • the right to erasure or restriction of processing,
    • the right to data portability,
    • the right to withdraw consent at any time,
    • the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
  7. The Controller processes personal data with the utmost care and in a manner that protects them against access by unauthorized persons, using technical, software, and organizational security measures.
  8. As a rule, personal data are processed by the Controller for the duration of the contract concluded with the User or until the User effectively objects to the processing of data. Due to tax and legal obligations, personal data are stored for a maximum period of 6 years from the date of completion of the contract.
  9. Personal data may be transferred to entities authorized to receive such data under applicable law and, to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract, to entities supporting us in the provision of services, including:
    • accounting service providers,
    • entities supporting the Controller in the technical operation of the website,
    • IT and hosting service providers.
    • entities providing newsletter distribution services, including MailerLite Limited.
  10. Personal data provided for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter are transferred to MailerLite Limited, which may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, the transfer of data is carried out on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
  11. Personal data may be processed in an automated manner. Data may be subject to profiling solely for the purpose of presenting tailored marketing content, provided that the User has given appropriate consent.

COOKIES POLICY

  1. Cookies are IT data files stored on the User’s end device. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time of storage on the end device, and a unique number. This website uses cookies.
  2. The entity placing cookies on the User’s end device and obtaining access to them is the Controller.
  3. Cookies are used for the purpose of:
    • adjusting the content of the website to the User’s preferences and optimizing the use of the website; in particular, these files allow the User’s device to be recognized and the website to be displayed accordingly, tailored to individual needs;
    • creating statistics that help understand how Users use the website, which enables improvements to its structure and content;
